“People Helping People” is our
motto and for the past twenty years, we have endeavored to fulfill this pledge
by offering assistance and information on various aspects of computing through
our monthly Membership Meeting and Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
MEETINGS
The monthly Membership Meeting
is held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., in Petro Building, Rm
220, on Washburn University Campus located at 17th and Washburn.
Petro Building is located on the east side of Washburn Campus and direct access
to the building can be made from 19th and Washburn.

The first half hour of the
meeting consists of a question and answer period when anyone in the audience may
present a computer problem or ask questions about their computer or software.
This is followed by a presentation of new products or techniques by one of our
members or a business in the Topeka area. Several past presenters have been Cox
Cable, AT&T, and Wolfe’s Camera.
Our meetings offer our members
a forum for learning about the expanding and ever changing uses of computers and
where informal contacts with other PC users are easily established.
